NEUTRAL NAVY

Os puedo asegurar que estoy más que acostumbrada a pasar frío (es lo que tienen las obras, que en invierno estufitas como que no...), pero aún recuerdo el castañear de mis dientes mientras hacíamos estas fotos.... Y eso que, aunque a ratos, lucía el sol, pero el aire era insoportable, tan gélido que te calaba los huesos... Sin embargo aquí me tenéis, con la mejor de mis sonrisas, riéndome del resfriado que me acompaña desde hace ya unos cuantos días. Virús a mí, ja!

Jejeje. ¡Qué paséis un feliz fin de semana! Nos "vemos" el lunes ;)

BACK TO BASICS

El pasado viernes os contaba que tenía ciertas dudas en cuanto al chaleco extra largo que llevaba. Sin embargo, cuando no me surge ni la menor incertidumbre es a la hora de utilizar una blazer. Un básico-clásico que ha permanecido inmune a lo largo de los años y que, a pesar de ser una prenda originariamente masculina, forma parte ya del repertorio "modil" de cualquier fémina amante de la moda.

Lo más fácil/más visto es combinada dentro de un working outfit con un pantalón de pinzas o una falda de tubo, pero si queremos escapar de la rutina hay un sin fin de alternativas para romper con los formalismos: Unos skinny jeans y una camiseta darán un aire completamente diferente a nuestra americana y si añadimos unos buenos tacones obtendremos ese equilibrio entre elegancia e informalidad que tan bien funciona. Perfectas para acudir a la oficina (y/o lo que se tercie) ;)

OSADIAS

Osadías... Porque a veces hay que cometerlas si queremos salir de lo habitual, ¿verdad? Dos estampados que de entrada nada tienen que ver, sí, pero el animal print nunca me falla ;) Y es que una de las claves del mix&macht si pretendemos que el resultado no se vea demasiado extravagante es elegir prendas con tonalidades que combinen entre sí o, mejor si cabe, que tengan al menos un color en común. Y precisamente esto es lo que yo he llevado a la práctica hoy jugando con los colores del estampado geométrico del pañuelo, que sirve como eje del look.

LINEN LONG VEST

 Cuando se trata de prendas extra largas, no acostumbro a vestir nada que pase bajo mi rodilla, pues es bien sabido que estos largos, así como ocurre con las famosísimas faldas midi, acortan visualmente nuestra figura, y yo, con mi 1,61 cm, soy muy consciente de que mi estatura no me permite ciertas cosas... Pero cuando me probé este chaleco (a regañadientes, todo hay que decirlo) mi marido insistió mucho en que me lo llevara, porque, según él, "era diferente". Puede que sea porque él me ve con buenísimos ojos (por descontado), pero qué queréis que os diga, yo estoy pensando en acortarlo un poquito, así, sin que se entere... jajaja. ¿Y vosotr@s? ¿Qué opináis sobre este tipo de prendas?

FLOR DE ALMENDRO

El estilo boho, el casual más apetecible que vuelve a imponerse con fuerza esta primavera. 

Puede que resulte una tarea bastante complicada ceñirlo a unas pautas establecidas, pues el boho es algo así como el espíritu que transmite el look. Aunque en un intento por definirlo, podríamos decir de él que es un mix en el que se mezclan abundantes ecos hippies y bohemios, con pinceladas que pueden ir desde lo étnico a lo campestre y algún toque vintage, otorgando al conjunto un aire "cuidadamente descuidado". Pero su verdadera esencia reside en los pequeños detalles, es algo etéreo, un aura especial que se apodera del outfit, un magnetismo irremediable que atrapa todas las miradas. Y aunque pueda resultar casi tan difícil definirlo como llevarlo a la práctica con éxito, hoy intentaré daros un botón de muestra (y espero conseguirlo) ^_^

SOLDADITO MARINERO

Y después de saturaros hasta la saciedad con el azul bebé, llega el turno de todo un clásico temporada tras temporada: el estilo marinero. Y aunque conmigo vais a tener navy para rato, ya os lo adelanto, he querido ser bastante moderada en mis inicios dejando los colores intensos en el armario, al menos hasta dentro de unas semanas (¿he dicho semanas? jajaja).
