MADERA & ROCA

Hoy el día ha amanecido triste, y aunque el cielo se alza gris plomo sobre mi cabeza, camino en busca de algún lugar alejado del mundo, sereno, plácido, donde escapar, dejando que mi mente se pierda mientras escucho el fluir del río y el silbido del viento al pasar entre los árboles. Me detengo un instante y respiro hondo, huele a madera, a roca y a tierra mojada y, mientras deambulo sobre las hojas que tiñen de ocre el sendero bajo mis pasos, advierto que a veces es bueno pararse a pensar... 

Today the day has dawned sad, and though the sky gunmetal perched on my head, road looking for somewhere away from the world, serene, placid, where escape, letting my mind is lost while listening to the flow of the river and the whistling of wind through the trees.
